As the company’s founder, Allen has been instrumental in developing and incorporating the mission, vision, and values of APHIX. Today Allen focuses his time and energy on the development of the team, strategic planning, and financial management as they directly impact the success of the mission of APHIX. Allen is involved in various associations and has served on several community boards. This experience has allowed APHIX to have a greater impact in the community, as well as allowed for innovative ideas to be implemented into APHIX as they are in other industries.
Allen is passionate about building a brand that makes a difference in the lives of the employees, clients, and community. To date, Allen’s career has been devoted to building APHIX and investing in commercial real estate. Allen and his wife Lauren are active in their church community and enjoy spending time with their kids (Ella-7, Asher-4).
Ernie leads the office and accounting staff in their daily efforts to support APHIX. Ernie has been instrumental in providing solid information to the management team to make sound business decisions versus emotional decisions. Ernie has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ferris State University and a CPA license. Ernie joined APHIX in 2017 after relocating from northern Michigan.
Prior to APHIX, Ernie was part owner in a residential and commercial real estate construction company in Michigan. Ernie and his wife relocated to Kentucky after his wife took a job with the University of Kentucky as an equine professor. Ernie has a daughter that lives in Lexington, and a son who lives in Knoxville.
Matt leads APHIX in its efforts to fulfill our mission. Matt learned the green industry at a young age growing up in a family-owned landscape maintenance company. Upon completed his bachelor’s degree in Horticulture from Morehead State University, Matt worked for a national landscape maintenance company where he held many roles and was able to experience many sides of the industry. His APHIX career started when life took Matt to the Central Kentucky area in 2016. Matt, his wife, and 2 kids now call Central Kentucky home.
When not working Matt spends as much time as he can with his family on their little piece of Kentucky and traveling to see family and friends. Matt is also a Shriners Corporate Council Member and actively involved with his Alma Mater as an advising leader and mentor.
Alisha is dedicated to enhancing the work experience for APHIX employees. With her strong foundation in human resources and organizational leadership through her associate degree and extensive 15+ years of experience, she effectively manages all HR functions. Alisha plays a crucial role in fostering a supportive and inspiring work environment, emphasizing talent development to cultivate the next generation of leaders in the green industry. Additionally, she ensures a safe and secure workplace for all employees.
Outside of work, Alisha treasures spending quality time with her family and appreciates the outdoors.
